The Chinese and English versions of this Policy prevail; other language versions are for reference only. Contact sales@hanchen.com with any questions.
This Privacy Policy applies when you visit autohch.com, create a business account, send an inquiry, place an order, upload payment evidence, or contact after-sales support. This website is intended for business customers and is not directed at individual consumers or minors; please do not register or submit personal information if you are below the legal age or lack the relevant legal capacity. The data controller is Wenzhou Hanchen Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. ("HANCHEN", "we", "us"). Send privacy, account, or data-rights requests to sales@hanchen.com or use the Contact Us page. We generally respond within 15 business days of receiving a complete request, or sooner where applicable law requires a shorter period.
We collect information needed for B2B operations: (a) name, work email, phone, company name, role, country/region, business address, tax or purchasing details; (b) products, quantities, delivery/shipping data, trade terms, and communications; (c) remittance proofs, invoicing details, and photos or files supporting a quality claim; and (d) login sessions, IP address, browser/device information, activity, and security logs. We do not ask for or retain full payment-card numbers, online-banking passwords, or bank-login credentials.
We use information to verify and manage accounts; prevent fraud or misuse; respond to inquiries; prepare and perform quotations/orders; arrange production and logistics; manually reconcile payments; invoice; provide after-sales support; improve the website and services; and comply with applicable legal, tax, customs, accounting, or regulatory duties. Unless we obtain your consent or applicable law permits otherwise, we do not sell personal information to data brokers or use it for unrelated marketing. Where applicable law requires us to identify a legal basis, we process personal information on the following grounds: (a) performance of, or steps preparatory to, a contract with the business you represent; (b) compliance with our legal obligations (including tax, customs, accounting, and anti-fraud requirements); (c) our or a third party’s legitimate interests, such as securing the website and transactions, preventing fraud, improving the service, and establishing or defending legal claims, where those interests are not overridden by your rights; and (d) your consent in specific cases, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Beneficiary and bank-account details are commercially sensitive. They are shown only in payment instructions for the relevant order to its logged-in customer and authorised administrators. A remittance proof is used for manual reconciliation and does not confirm receipt of funds. We will never ask you to change bank details solely by email, WhatsApp, WeChat, or another instant message. If payment details differ from the official quotation, proforma invoice, or order page, stop payment and independently verify through the phone number published on this website or sales@hanchen.com.
We share information only as needed to provide the service — for example with hosting, email-notification, maintenance, and security providers, or with carriers, freight forwarders, customs agents, insurers, and other fulfilment partners that need order information. To provide AI customer service and automated Q&A, the necessary content of your conversation with the assistant may be processed by our AI service provider in order to generate a reply; please do not submit sensitive personal information unrelated to the business in those conversations. We do not sell personal information to third parties. Data may be processed or stored inside or outside China. A cross-border order may require necessary order, contact, and logistics information to be transferred to the destination country or region. We apply appropriate contractual, organisational, and technical safeguards as required by applicable law (for example, data-processing terms with processors, access restrictions, and minimisation of transferred fields) and share only the minimum information needed for the purpose.
The website uses necessary cookies or browser local storage to maintain login sessions, cart contents, language, and security settings. Disabling them may prevent login or ordering features from working correctly. If we introduce analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking technologies, we will provide the relevant notice and choice mechanism before enabling them. You may clear or restrict cookies/local storage in your browser, but doing so can sign you out or remove preferences.
We use reasonable safeguards such as HTTPS transmission, access controls, session management, password hashing, and least-privilege practices, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely risk-free. We retain information for the following periods, after which it is deleted, anonymised, or otherwise appropriately isolated: (a) account and contact information — for the life of the account and 3 years after closure (for dispute handling and compliance checks); (b) order, invoice, payment, and reconciliation records — 10 years after the transaction (tax, customs, accounting, and limitation requirements); (c) customer-service and after-sales records — 3 years after resolution; (d) security and access logs — generally 6 months; and (e) where longer retention is required by law or needed for an existing dispute or investigation, for as long as required. These are general standards; where applicable law requires a longer or shorter period, the law prevails.
To the extent provided by applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, a portable copy, or withdrawal of consent. To protect account security, we may ask you to verify your identity and relationship to the request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law; if we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain the legally permitted reason and available remedies. If you believe our processing of personal information breaches applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in your jurisdiction (for example, residents of the EU/EEA may complain to their local data protection authority). We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern directly first.
We do not make decisions producing legal effects or similarly significant effects concerning you based solely on automated processing, including profiling. We may use automated means for security protection, spam detection, risk alerts, or content recommendations; those results do not constitute a final decision on transaction eligibility, price, or contractual terms. Material decisions concerning orders, credit, or compliance are subject to human review.
If a personal-data security incident occurs that is likely to result in a high risk to your rights, we will take remedial measures promptly and, as required by applicable law, notify you in an appropriate manner (for example by in-site notice or email) of the circumstances, the likely consequences, and the measures we have taken, and report to the competent authorities where legally required.
The website may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example carrier tracking, payment, or social platforms). Those third parties determine their own information practices, and this Policy does not apply to them. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before use, and we are not responsible for third-party content or information practices.
We may send you business-related notices (such as quotations, orders, shipments, after-sales, and security alerts). Unless you separately consent, we will not send marketing unrelated to your business. If you receive marketing communications and wish to stop, you may use the unsubscribe method in the message or email sales@hanchen.com, and we will stop within a reasonable period. Essential notices relating to orders, payments, and account security are not marketing communications and cannot be unsubscribed from.
We may update this Policy for business, technical, or legal reasons. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified through your account or email. The “Last updated” date identifies the effective version. Continued use of the service after an update takes effect means you acknowledge the updated Policy. Where this Policy is provided in multiple languages, the Chinese and English versions prevail in case of any difference or ambiguity, and other translations are for reference only.
